| What is the difference between Florida First Vacations and other sites? |
 | We are very different from other websites. Other sites simply list property rentals from private owners and you are left to get on with it yourself. We are a specialist Florida vacation agent, who offer the property direct from our own stocks. By renting from Florida First Vacations, you are guaranteed the highest quality properties, together with exceptional customer service. That's the difference in a nutshell. |
| Who are Florida First Vacations? |
 | We are a Uk based company with a local office on the US192 in Kissimmee, Florida. Florida First Vacations offer a wide range of vacation home rentals to UK and US clients solely through our website. We are a family run business and are extensive travellers to Florda ourselves, with our expertise and knowledge of the area often passed onto clients. We are also offer travel and medical insurance and car hire. |
| How do I book a property with Florida First Vacations? |
 | All our homes are booked on an 'allocation upon arrival' basis. This means that our clients will reserve a certain type of property with Florida First Vacations for a specified period of time, and will then be allocated the selection upon their arrival in resort.
|
| Why should I book allocation upon arrival accommodation? |
 | Mainly because we ALWAYS have availability! Unlike many of our competitors, we do not keep our clients waiting around while we try to find available properties or let our guests down when they can't stay in their desired property. All our homes are of the same highest standard and quality so guests can be assured of the very best.
All properties are privately owned and managed by our local office in Kissimmee, with in-resort assistance available at all times. |
| What is the difference between booking a named property and an allocation upon arrival property? |
 | The main difference is that guests can view the property to which they will be staying, however, most properties in Florida are of the same high standard. Our prices are discounted from named properties by up to £200 per week! By booking an allocated upon arrival property we can offer discounted prices as we have guaranteed availabilities. |
| What are your payment arrangements? |
 | Full payment must be received at our office at least 8 weeks prior to your travel. A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable when your booking is confirmed. We cannot accept any other payment arrangements at this time. |
| What forms of payment do you accept? |
 | We only accept cheques, postal orders or Bank Transfers at this time. We do not accept credit card payments due to the high risk of fraud in the travel industry, and to protect our clients' details. However, as we have had numerous enquiries as to why we don't accept credit cards, especially for customer convenience, that we may indeed start accepting them in the near future. |
| Why don't you accept credit card payments? |
 | Accepting credit card payments is one of the easiest transactions to arrange on line. However,
Florida First Vacations have made a consious decision not to accept card payments for two main reasons. Our first reason is we are a family run company and are at risk from fraudulant transactions and chargebacks, as are all organisations in the travel industry. Our second reason is for the protection of our clients. Fraud on the internet is on the rise and this is often through obtaining details over the internet. However, as we have had numerous enquiries as to why we don't accept credit cards, especially for customer convenience, that we may indeed start accepting them in the near future. |
