TERMS and CONDITIONS The below terms and conditions apply to each booking made with Florida First Vacations 1) RESERVATIONS & BOOKING PROCEDURES All bookings should be made directly in writing sent to us by fax or email to our central office, unless other arrangements have been specified. All requests need to mention full name of clients, number of passengers, beginning and end dates of the rental period, type of unit required, and any special requests required (food packages, pool heat etc). All unit types are offered on an "allocation on arrival" basis, unless a named home or named subdivision is detailed on the request. All bookings are confirmed back to you with their own unique confirmation number in writing 2) RENTAL PRICES The prices include the mandatory local taxes, all cleaning fees, lawn care and standard pool maintenance, electricity, air conditioning, water usage etc. They DO NOT include extras such as pool heating, internet usage and other additional fees imposed by the property owner. 3) PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS Full payment of all services is always due at least 8 weeks prior to client's arrival, and reservations made within 30 days before arrival need to be prepaid in full within 3 business days. Payments should be made in GBP Sterling by cheque or bank transfer. 4) MODIFICATIONS & CANCELLATIONS Any modification in dates will not be considered a cancellation provided the same length of stay is maintained as originally booked and is subject to availability. For cancellations between 45 days and 30 days prior to arrival there will be a £100 administration fee charged; for cancellations less than one month but more than two weeks prior to arrival there will be a £200.00 charge; for cancellations less than 2 weeks but more than three days prior to arrival there will be a charge equal to 50% of rental amount due. For cancellations less than three days or no shows will be billed at full rental amount due. 5) ACCESS and CHECK IN PROCEDURES The hours of our local office are from 09:00 am to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday and 10am till 4pm Saturdays (10am till 2pm Saturdays in low season). The office is unmanned on Sundays. Check in time on arrival day is 4pm or later. Check out time is 10am or earlier on departure day. Evenings, Sundays, and Holidays check-ins will use our LOCK BOX CHECK-IN PROCEDURE. This procedure is noted on arrival instructions. Upon check-in guests will be given detailed directions and keys for their rental home. It is at this time they must complete a registration form as required by Florida law, and present us with a picture ID exactly as they would be when staying in a hotel. For late arrivals this form must be brought into the office the next business day. Should the guests bring with them additional unauthorized guests or pets, or RV’S this will result in the rental agreement being terminating immediately. The home is to be used for vacation purposes only. Any guest found to use the home for reasons other than its intended use, or to perform any illegal activities in the home will result in the rental period terminating immediately with no refund due. A deposit of $300.00 per week stayed (three hundred US dollars) plus electrical/gaming items at cost is to be paid by the guest as a security against any damages or missing items which might occur during their stay; We recommend the guests supply us with their credit card details which will only be charged if there is a problem concerning the rental period, such as excessive cleaning, broken/ missing items with the exception of normal wear and tear. Should this amount is paid by cash it will be returned after 30 days of their departure if no charge have been made against the deposit. It will be mailed to the clients in the form of a US dollar check. We do not recommend overseas clients pay this way. In the event of any damages or excess cleaning, we reserve the right to deduct monies for such occurrences from the deposit and will provide the clients with a full explanation and itemised account with pictures where possible or required. 6) ASSISTANCE: Our local office provides a 24-hour emergency assistance. Requests or demands that are considered emergencies and affect the guest's comfort are always dealt with on a 24 hours basis. Routine guest questions are handled during regular business hours. 7) COMPLAINTS & COMPENSATION Any complaint and/or claim for compensation, including "loss of enjoyment" must be reported to our local office while the guest is still in occupation of the rented property and our representatives must be given the opportunity to correct any problem directly with the client. No claim will be entered into, or acceptable, unless the client reported the problem directly to our local office. Our guest representative and the house manual information available to the guest in his rented property will both outline these procedures clearly. In case our local representative failed to deal with the problem in an acceptable way to the guest, claims must be submitted in writing within 14 days after checkout in order to be considered. 8) RESPONSIBILITY Florida First Vacations or our local representatives cannot accept responsibility for any equipment failure in the home, provided that timely steps and actions are taken for it's repair or replacement, nor can we be held liable for any items lost by the guests during their stay. However, every effort will be made for the comfort of the guest and no reasonable request will be denied. Florida First Vacations or our local representatives and its appointed agents act only as an intermediate for the guest in regard to his travel and holiday vacation; they do not take any responsibility nor are liable for any physical, financial, and/or material loss or damage in connection with any services provided by any supplier 9) INSURANCE All guests are required to ensure they have sufficient travel/medical insurance in place for the period of their holiday. All matters with regard to loss or injury should be directed to their respective insurance company. Where the property has a swimming pool, Florida First Vacations does not accept liability for any for any injury however caused as a result of the use of the pool. Guests are specifically requested not to allow unsupervised children to use the pool, local laws apply. The owners of the property, or their servants or agents, will not be liable for any loss or delay occaisoned by any of the following: strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist actiivity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather problems to transport, aircraft, closure of airports, or any other even deemed beyond the owner's control. All reservations exonerate Florida First Vacations from any action resulting from non performance of its supplier or any related bodies. By paying the deposit, the Lead Client is accepting these terms and conditions. 9) PROPERTY DESCRIPTION Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the descriptions and information concerning the properties, resorts and services. However we cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions and any changes to your holiday that are beyond our control. 10) PERSONAL CARE AND SAFETY Florida First VAcations cannot accept any liability for your personal safety during your vacation. Clients are reminded to exercise care as to the personal safety of themselves and their party. Whenever possible valueables should be left secure and out of sight. |
